Lehigh Rising Scholars Journal

Promoting academic excellence through peer review

About the Journal

The Lehigh Rising Scholars Journal is a student-run, peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to showcasing exceptional research from undergraduate and graduate students at Lehigh University. Our mission is to provide a supportive platform for emerging scholars to share their work, engage with peer review, and contribute to the broader academic dialogue.

Unlike traditional academic journals, our review process is designed to prioritize constructive feedback and mentorship. We especially emphasize the role of graduate student reviewers as guides who can help authors refine their work with clarity and confidence. This approach fosters a more inclusive, educational publishing experience — particularly for undergraduates submitting their first academic manuscripts.

Our goal is not just to publish research, but to build a community of scholars who support and uplift one another. As part of Lehigh’s Rossin College of Engineering, we are proud to highlight interdisciplinary work and empower students to communicate their ideas clearly to both expert and public audiences.

Whether you're submitting original research, a review article, or a public-facing science communication piece, we welcome you to contribute to the Lehigh Rising Scholars Journal and become part of this growing academic community.
